Great location keeps people going back. Food and service are spotty. Check out the reviews on tripadvisor.com.

I live in Delray and have been to Boston’s at least 10 times. Experiences have ranged from very good to awful. Never excellent. Service can be atrocious at times. Food is okay if you stick to typical fried bar foods and burgers.

If you are going for drinks, stick to beer and wine. The martini’s are often very weak and outrageously priced.

I worked for Trish and Jerry, the first owners, the summer of “79″. Much of the staff lived upstairs in small apartments and out back in the motel.
Jerry was more than just the owner. He had a degree in psychology and many times would council the very young staff in group meetings held upstairs
We were a family that summer! It was great then and I’m sure it’s still great today!
30 years?

30 years ago I could walk from the ocean to the rail road tracks mid morning for breakfast at a little coffee shop and never run into another person along the way!
